SOT 2007: Foundations in Faith
Enrolling in SOT 2007 was a defining moment in my spiritual journey. The teachings deepened my conviction to serve God wholeheartedly. One module that left a lasting impact was Evangelism. It taught me to boldly share my faith, which led me to start a Christian fellowship at my workplace. Through it, several colleagues came to know Christ.

After graduation, I joined an MNC as a junior engineer and was unexpectedly tasked to lead a cross-department team to solve a major technical issue. The problem was critical and had no known solution. I prayed constantly, seeking wisdom from the Holy Spirit. One day, while driving and praying, an idea came to me. Though the team initially doubted it, I persisted. After three months of trials, the solution worked—saving the company US$10 million per quarter. Within two years, I was promoted to senior team lead. Together with Christian colleagues, we started a Bible study group that brought many backsliders and non-believers to Christ.
Another transformative module was Homiletics, which equipped me to preach and communicate effectively. During SOT, God gave me a vision that I would one day preach His Word. Seventeen years later, in 2024, I preached at an outdoor crusade in Kupang, Indonesia, where 560 people received Christ. Praise the Lord!

ADM 2024: Leading From Within
In 2024, I graduated from the Associate Degree in Ministry. By then, I had become a business owner. In the early years, I believed success came from working harder—chasing sales, pressuring staff, and sacrificing time with family and God. ADM, especially the Christian leadership module, reminded me that true leadership begins from within. Without a healthy inner life in Christ, all efforts become striving in the flesh.
During a mission trip, I didn’t check on my business for three days. When I returned, I was shocked to find that sales had increased by 300%. God was showing me that He is my true provider. As I slowed down and trusted Him more, I realized my company rests on His shoulders, not mine.
Christology taught me about common grace—how God’s goodness is evident even in the marketplace. I see it in the creativity of my staff, the fairness of deals, and the friendships formed with clients. These blessings remind me to give thanks and view business as part of God’s generosity.

ADM reinforced a powerful truth: Christ’s love is the greatest. In the marketplace, success is often measured by profit and performance, but Christ’s love values people above profits, service over status, and character over achievement. This truth frees me to lead with compassion, integrity, and generosity. No deal, riches, or failure can compare to the security I have in Christ’s love.
