Refund Policy

The School Of Theology offers a refund of the course and applicable related fees paid (with the exception of registration and course material fees) in the event the student withdraws from the course by giving written notice under the following conditions:

  • Non-commencement of the course by the school without any indication of commencement date;
  • Non-completion of the course by the school without any indication of completion date;
  • Termination of the course by the school without any indication prior to completion date;
  • The school or the student is unable to carry on with the course for reasons beyond the control of either (due to Force Majeure).

SOT offers refund in the event the student withdraws for reasons other than the above. In such a case, refund, subject to there being no double claim, is offered within 30 days on receipt of the payment refund form.The amount of refund (with the exception of registration and course material fees) is as follows:

100% More than 14 days before the Commencement Date
100% Before, but not more than 14 days before the Commencement Date
100% After, but not more than 7 days after the Commencement Date
90% More than 7 days after the Commencement Date, but not more than 28 days after the Commencement Date
0% More than 28 days after the Commencement Date

The amount of refund of course fees is subject to the student making lump sum payment of the entire course fees. Should the student pay by monthly installment plan, and his/her study term is terminated within the first week of any month, course fees for that particular month remains payable and will not be refunded. Exceptions will be required on a case-by-case basis.

In the event where no prior written notice of withdrawal is given by the student and he/she does not attend the course as scheduled within 14 days, all monies paid will not be refunded.
