Diploma of Ministry

The Diploma of Ministry (DipMin) course is catered to those who want to dedicate six months of their lives to be trained in theology and practical ministry.

This 6-month course is designed to equip you with a strong foundation in the Word of God, spiritual values, and effective ministry skills. You will find yourself immersed in the presence of God through daily worship, doctrinal study, and ministry practicum.

SOT will help you obtain a solid biblical foundation, and help you grow and mature as a believer. Whether you are an aspiring missionary, an established preacher, or a marketplace believer, you will receive the necessary biblical ingredients for success and victory in your Christian life through this programme.

Admission Criteria

Academic Entry Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
      1. Be at least 16 years old at the time of application. Those age below 21 (as at official commencement) must provide proof of parental consent. You may submit the Parental Consent form here.
      2. Have obtained at least a GCE O-level certificate or its equivalent; or have at least 3 years of work experience at the time of application.
Additional Criteria for Entry
City Harvest Church members:
      1. Must have two recommendations: One from your Pastor/Pastoral Supervisor and the other from your Cell Group Leader.
      2. Must be attending Cell Group and Service regularly for at least a year.
      3. Must be an Ordinary Member (OM) and above.
      4. Must pass an entrance interview.
Non-City Harvest Church members:
      1. Must have two recommendations: One from your Senior Pastor and the other from another Pastor from your Church.
      2. Must be a member (at least 1 year) in good standing with his/her Church.
      3. Must pass an entrance interview.
The following steps must be taken before we can process your application:
      • The application form must be completely filled. Answer every question as explicitly as possible within the spaces provided.
      • The email addresses of your 2 Recommenders for non-CHC recommenders must be indicated on your application form before we can process your application. The Recommendation Forms are required for your entrance interview. Please help to ensure that your recommending referees are expedient and thorough in completing the online Recommendation form sent by SOT.
      • Your photograph and Passport biodata page (for international students) / NRIC (for Singaporean students) must be uploaded on the Application form. Forms without photographs and Passport biodata page/NRIC will not be accepted.
      • A copy of your certificate and result transcript of your highest standard passed will also need to be uploaded.
      • Registration fee should be paid in full.

Submission of your application does not guarantee automatic admission to SOT. You will be contacted for an entrance interview with one of our church pastors/staff. Until you have received the letter of acceptance (via email) from us, you are advised not to give any notice of resignation to your employers. Please allow 7 to 14 days for the processing of your application (upon submission to us). We will notify you via email regarding the outcome of your application.


Course Fees and Payment

Registration Fee

Students are to pay a non-refundable registration fee of SGD60 (with GST) upon registration.

Course Fees Per Academic Year

Category A: SGD2,800 (with GST) for students from Singapore (including Singapore Permanent Residents), Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North America, and other developed countries.
Category B: SGD2,520 (with GST) for students from other countries not stated in Category A.

Note:

      • The course fees include Onsite Lectures, Course Credits and Student Workbooks. Reference Books for assignments are not included.
      • Students may pay the entire course fees in a lump sum or in two instalments (April/July).
      • Payment should be made within the first five days of payment month.

Course fees and registration fee are payable online at the SOT Payment Portal, with the following steps:

      • Log in to SOT Payment Portal
      • Indicate the amount under “SOT Course Fees”
      • Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions
