Master of Arts

The Master of Arts (MA) is designed to provide a comprehensive postgraduate-level education, drawing on SOT’s established expertise, while expanding to include general subjects of interest to the students. The programme’s coursework aims to offer an advanced body of knowledge and professional application in various contexts. Graduates will gain an in-depth understanding of the Christian worldview and its integration with vocation and community. They will develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication, along with advanced theoretical knowledge and its practical application. The Master of Arts is designed to produce graduates who can effectively apply their knowledge and skills in diverse professional settings, demonstrating intellectual independence, responsibility, and collaboration, as well as a strong foundation in both theory and practice.

The Master of Arts is only open to Christians with a Bachelor’s degree.

Course Fees & Payment

Registration Fee

Students are to pay a non-refundable registration fee of SGD60 (with GST) upon registration.

Total Course Fees

SGD12,000 (with GST) 

  • The course fees include Online Lectures, Course Credits and Student Notes. Reference Books for assignments are not included.
  • Students may pay the entire course fees in a lump sum or in five instalments (January 2025, June 2025, January 2026, June 2026, January 2027).
  • Payment should be made within the first five days of the payment month.

Course fees and registration fee are payable online at the SOT Payment Portal, with the following steps:

  • Log in to SOT Payment Portal
  • Indicate the amount under “SOT Course Fees”
  • Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions
