Pastor Kong is a passionate follower of Christ and a man of the Spirit. His message and preaching are not merely inspirational, but with the strong demonstration of the Spirit’s power. He constantly challenges people to anchor their faith in the Word of God, move in the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, and be intentional in the daily cultivation of the fruit of the Spirit. He believes that the ultimate goal of life is to conform to the image of Christ. Pastor Kong teaches that every authentic disciple of Jesus must be willing to suffer for Him and the gospel, and lovingly serve others, especially the weak, defenseless, poor, and needy. Soul-winning, making disciples, missions, and helping the poor are his passion.

Annually, CWW assists 9,632 individuals in need, while CHCSA supports 1,962 members of the community.

From 2002 to 2010, Sun was commissioned by the church to lead the Crossover Project, employing pop music as a tool for evangelism among the unchurched. Her involvement in the pop music scene facilitated outreach to underprivileged communities in nations such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka, China, Haiti, and Honduras, utilising proceeds from her albums to establish rehabilitation centres, schools, and to meet the needs of the poor.

Sun received the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Outstanding Young Person of the World Award in 2003 for her humanitarian endeavours. In 2004, she was named “Ambassador of Love” for her significant contributions to the educational welfare of underprivileged children through the establishment of schools in China. Additionally, she was appointed “Charity Ambassador of Love” for the Special Olympic World Summer Games in Shanghai in 2007 and the “Music Ambassador” for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Songfest.

Pastor Sun was ordained in 2015, with her ordination certificate signed by Dr David Yonggi Cho, founder of the world’s largest church. Presently, she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership at Vanguard University.

In 2018, together with Rev Dr Bobby Chaw, Sun co-founded The Harvest Network, a fellowship of like-minded congregations around the region, who share CHC’s DNA.

Sun’s love for Jesus and the gospel forms the foundation of her ministry for God’s kingdom and His people.
